Hi.
I want to start this by saying I am happy this is all happening, I am just unsure how to navigate. Myself and my partner have a 4 year old dd, we have been together for almost 7 years. I have known from day one that my partner had a child that he did not see after the age of 2 (now 14) for many reasons but for the right ones. He has worked incredibly hard on his mental health and has reached out to her mum on a few occasions. Very recently her mum found him and contacted him connecting and reaching out, she knows about our little one and would love to meet her dad and little sister.

He is extremely happy and is really ready to take it very slowly and build a relationship with his eldest. Completely terrified and worried she will hate him. He is a beautiful dad to our dd. She adores him but we are all scared.
I am just unsure how to navigate with our dd. As of yet no plans to meet have been secured but how can I help in this situation? How can we ease the transition? I am so nervous! Any tips gratefully received.

Thank you xx
