Health Visitor

My health visitor came to see me when my daughter was 8 weeks old and was told she wouldn’t be seeing us until around the time my baby turns 9 months old. This morning I’ve received a text message informing me of a health visitor appointment in two weeks time - my daughter will be roughly around 13/14 weeks. I was at a baby weight review appointment this morning who have said they have no concerns and don’t need to be rushing to see us anytime soon. However I mentioned about how my baby struggles with bringing her wind up & they recommended sending someone out to show me baby massages to help me to see if this would help.
is this appointment an actual health visitor or will it be the baby massage people as I’ve always been told there isn’t a health visitor appointment past 8 weeks.

HV have a minimum standard appointment I think 4 between birth and starting school but they can see you more often than that.
Due to my pnd I saw my HV every other week for 6 months then once a month. I have had a 6 week course of baby massage from a member of the HV team, weaning sessions, language development assessments and most recently I had a 8 week course of counselling with my HV to help with coping with mine and my daughters health needs. This was after my daughters paediatrician contact them saying we needed more support. They can do a quite a lot but it's varied and a lot of what they can do is kept quiet!
