Duplo? Mine loved their duplo sets, it was the thing they probably played with the most out of everything over the years.

NuffSaidSam · 12/10/2024 12:07

Duplo or brio train track.

Luddite26 · 12/10/2024 12:08

Duplo or start buying Playmobil with they play with more and more up to around 10.
You could get a Playmobil advent calendar and see how it goes.

You mean you already have this for him for Christmas? I'd say this is plenty. I'd add some books.

My son's most played with toys are Brio trains and tracks, and kinetic sand.

Mrsmch123 · 12/10/2024 16:06

@Yourethebeerthief yeh we have this already.
He's not much of a sand fan. He had kenetic sand but didn't bother with it.

He'll be nearly 4 by Christmas, so I'd get him some playmobil rather than Duplo. Duplo is quite young and my just turned 3 year old already isn't fussed and is desperate to have Lego. He'll just have to wait for that, but the Duplo goes unplayed with.

Brio builder sets are good, as is Speed Track for his cars.

Mrsmch123 · 12/10/2024 21:50

@Yourethebeerthief the brio sets look right up his street. Will get him them I think. He loves it's diy sets but it's just the hammer, screwdriver ect that he's got nothing that he can actually build so thanks ☺️

He already has an insane amount of stuff. He's 3. It's not fair to spoil kids like this, it does them no favours whatsoever.

We have a sort of starter set and we're getting more at Christmas plus the set with the motor so you can build pull-back cars.
It's very well made and you can build actual fun things with it

Mrsmch123 · 19/10/2024 21:01

@Seagall yeh he's a lucky boy.

we are now sorted we went with brio set, bumper cart remote toy, air hockey game, a balance beam set with stepping stones, Ben and holly campervan and figure set, a Spider-Man scalextric set, Spider-Man web shooter thing and a small karaoke machine incase anyone is looking for ideas.

we also have a ride on bumper cart that's still in the maybe pile.

all the other stuff is wrapped and in the loft😅
