So started potty training today. DS is 2y 9mo
today we did bare from waist down and chocolate if he went on potty to reinforce a bit. He did fantastic imo. Only a few accidents but when he started and we said oops let’s go the potty. He’d stop weeing run to the potty and continue there. When prompted he’s went to the potty for a wee and done one himself too
so it’s went so well today!
my plan tomorrow is undies in morning, undies + pants in afternoon. To get him used to pulling up and down and so he knows he shouldn’t wet himself as he won’t always be able to be bare.
Sunday continue and Monday with the hopes of Tuesday (nursery day and I’m in work) he has most of the hang of it and can go to nursery with no nappies
is is this a good plan? Do I need to do anything else? I’ve bought a seat for the toilet and going to get a carry potty for out and about as we go on a trip in 3 weeks. But this weekend we’re on house arrest to try and crack it lol
