Funded hours while on ML

Hi, does anyone know if we can still get funded hours for childcare/nursery while on ML.

Also would we get it if we go on the unpaid (13weeks) part too at the end? I know it’s renew the details every 3 months so I’m not sure if the end unpaid section would affect that.

Yes if you remain employed and its for an older child (ie not the one you're on mat leave for).

The younger one will get it when you return to work. (Conditions apply).

@Tulip8 yes it is, he’s 18 months old and already goes to nursery. ML wouldn’t be until next spring, I’m just trying to figure out if we need to emergency save more to cover costs if they suddenly stopped. We would like him to continue going the two days a week that he does so it’s routine and because he appears to enjoy it.
