1 month old developed this over past couple of days, is this baby acne or something more? Doesn’t seem to annoy her though , just looks awful :(

It looks like it could be baby acne but I'm not an expert by any means. Have you got a weigh in/drop in sessions with the HV in your area this week? If so, I'd target her along and ask them to have a look Wink

Mine has this between 3 and 6 weeks then it went away. I was told it was hormonal.

Definitely seems to look like baby acne to me. I’ve got 3 children and 2 had baby acne between the ages of 1-6ish weeks. It always looked SO bad and then I remember miraculously one day it disappearing. My daughter is 5 weeks old and had it really bad in her first week, it was absolutely everywhere but now it’s just the odd two or three spots on her face. My second boy didn’t get it at all, I remember actually being envious of how perfect his skin was. I just tried super hard to not touch their faces with my hands, keep my hands super clean and clean their faces with cool boiled water once or twice a day.

We had exactly this at 4 weeks too. I assumed it was because I put jojoba oil on her skin and at caused a trapped heat rash-type reaction. It was over her face and stomach.

In the end it cleared after I washed it off with our usual top to toe wash and left her skin alone for 3/4 days. It took a couple of days to go.
