We have attempted potty training with our nearly 3 yo twice now and she's not having it. It's confusing as she asks to have her nappy changed as soon as poo'ed, she tells us she needs a wee and takes herself off to loo. Manages to take her trousers and nappy off, climb on the loo, wipes, flushes and washes her hands but has never managed a drop in either the potty or toilet. She also demands to wear pants which we let her if at home, and we then regularly ask her if she needs a wee, she ends up holding it in and then starts holding herself and saying ouch! The first time we tried training she ended up with a UTI and wouldnt go in her nappy or potty and got very confused and was all quite traumatic. She will be 3 in November... 🤔
