5 month routine

My 5 month old has naturally settled into a routine of feeding at the following times:

7:30am. Drinks 4oz
10:30am drinks 4oz
1:30pm drinks up to 8oz
4:00pm drinks 6oz
7:00pm drinks up to 7oz

I always prepare an 8pz bottle but this is what he actually takes on average.

He then falls asleep with that 7pm feed and sleeps until close to 1am has another feed (usually drinks around 4oz) and then wakes between 3-4 and I can settle back to sleep and wakes fully at 5:30am not so easy to settle back.

I have a 3 hear old early riser who we have finally got to wake up after 6:00 after years of 4-5 starts and she is being disturbed at 5:30 and waking up.

Is this pretty normal for a 5 month old, is there any point in me trying to shift everything gradually so he goes to bed a bit later or is he too young for that sort of sleep training?

Any ideas welcome!

My five month old is in a very similar routine. We've started to introduce purees now and many of my friends with babies the same age have reported longer sleeps at night but ours is still on the exact same schedule even with additional food.

You might get lucky when you begin purees or you may not. You could try getting them down at 7:30 but that's not going to magically shift the morning wake up.
