I love fluff I can't help it. I am going to have to have lots of babies and not potty train them just so I can keep buying nappies. Just took delivery today of 2 pocket bots - 1 cow print with purple fleece and one purple circles with green fleece. They are sooooo lovely. A bit stiff cos they're new but they're wonderful. Is it bad to let DD wear them before washing? I put a fleece liner inside so the unwashed bit isn't next to her bits. I also have 2 fuzzi bunz, 2 bumgenius, bamboozles, fluffles, organic cotton rainbow tots and some terries. But I want MORE!!!!

lol...welcome to the wonderful world of fluff. I love my fuzzis and bumgenius

Washing gets rid of any coating that may be on the fabrics after the manufacturing process. Probably not harmful, but they are generally less absorbant until after they've been washed.

they sound lovely by the way

lol thats not a joke round our neck of the woods at the moment as there was a guy flashing in our local area and when he flashed revealed a nappy!!! (i wanted to know if it was a sposie or a real one but it did not say inthe paper). I dontknow if he is still active ???

My dh has a big hairy bum - i wanted another squidgey little cutey one (just to clarify...)

Im addicted too luckily for me dd3 is only 7 months and dc4 is expected in october so i can buy lovely newborn nappies too!

Liz79 · 23/04/2008 20:50

can i just ask, why do you need to worry about the absorbency of pocket nappies? The actual pocket bit not the insert? The pocket isn't meant to be absorbent is is? Bumgenius and fuzzi said about not using softener for this reason but I don't get it

the fleece bit or suedecloth absorbs pee through to the insert - if washed in fab cond or to much powder it is unable to do this as effectively and repells the liquid so it runs off and out of leg holes type thing....

lol nappyzone at the cute squidgy bum, but at the thought of the flasher.

the new greenkids look great, but DH has said no-more till the new baby in November.
