Hi, my 7 week old daughter has had silent reflux and prescribed gaviscon whilst drinking instant aptamil. Crying through feeds and just unsettled constantly. Doctor said just keep trying and I gave up and thought it can’t be any worse let’s try comfort milk. Different baby! A week in and she is so much happier in herself will actually sit happily in her bouncer, or on me and just chill which she would never do before.
problem - she can’t seem to find a teat she likes with the comfort the two she can’t get it out the three is to fast and the X is fine but some feeds she then can’t handle it after about 60ml, I’ve tried doctor browns but currently on Mam if anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful I am so happy she’s happier but don’t want her to lose weight when we get to the 60 mark!
do people find they drink less on the comfort? We were also on 7 bottles a day between 80 and 140 and now done to 6.
