2 month vaccines, is this normal?

Hi everyone,

my 2 month old had her vaccines over 48 hours ago. It’s honestly like I have a different baby.
she was really chilled, alert and smiley before. She had been sleeping through the night for about a week. Really calm, chilled baby.
she’s completely the opposite now. Won’t sleep, not smiling much, hardly drinking her milk. She’s so tired but just keeps waking up.
is this normal? I know increased fussiness can happen but she’s screaming and screaming whereas she never did before.

please tell me this is normal. I’m really worrying

If you’re worried it may be worth giving 111 a call. I can imagine baby may still feel ropey from the jabs but I know I was told if they have a temperature after the 3 doses of Calpol you are told to give after these jabs then they need to be seen. So if they have a temp still definitely call.

She hasn’t got a high temp xx

That’s good, honestly if you are concerned at all call 111. She’s so tiny so better to get her checked.

Aww yes it is normal, but if you’re at all worried just get her seen for your peace of mind.

My two were poorly after each set of jabs but were back to normal within a few days. Think they just make them feel a bit rubbish.

The sleeping through the night thing may be unrelated as that’s very young for that to be honest, it will happen again when she’s ready.
