Baby acne or something else?

Hi, does this look like baby acne or something else? On both cheeks, ears and head.

It's quite severe. Mine had this with CMPA.

@BurbageBrook I did think it was CMPA she has symptoms-

• Loose stools with mucus
• Congested and coughing
• Sore pooing & farting (wet farts) forceful poo
• dry skin: baby acne flare
• Brings up some feed -reflux
• coughing and gagging sometimes during feeding . Constant hiccups
• Eyes puffy and red

but GP said she was putting in weight and they were all common newborn things.

her poos have been awful.

Sounds so so similar to my baby with CMPA. Poos got steadily worse until they were green but started out very much like your picture.

GPs tend to dismiss symptoms. No idea why.

Suppose it could be the cost of dairy free formula, even though my baby was BF.

I'd go back and push further. Are they pooing very often, too?

My son had this (including the explosive poo), cradle cap and then became 'proper' eczema at around 9 months. I would stop using any bath washes or shampoo and a very mild soap detergent for clothes. It's all got much better (he's 19!) but he swapped the eczema for asthma.

@BurbageBrook yeah the GP did mention about the cost of it… yes can go one day without none then the next a lot if explosive nappies. Definitely going to push further on it, if needs be will buy it myself , hate to see her in discomfort
