Send him to school?

6 yr old had a disturbed night, awake quite a bit feeling hot with a sore throat.

Temp this morning is 38.0 and he doesn't feel great, but is messing around with his brother and has eaten full breakfast.

Would you send him in?

Not with a 38 temp, he could be coming down with something and is probably better resting

How sure are you on the accuracy of the thermometer? Mine is useless. If he’s eating and messing around I’d send him in with a sore throat.

Not with a fever, no.

No, not with a fever.

No, absolutely not.

Wit a 6yo, it might be more productive to have a quiet day rather than a miserable child at school spreading germs.

Thanks very much x
