I hate Breastfeeding

I am 12 days postpartum and have EBF since birth, her latch is fine she lost some weight and is slowly putting some back on. This has made me overthink breastfeeding and it's all I think about when does she need another feed, was the feed long enough, is she getting enough etc.

She's been cluster feeding and I feel like I get no break at all and it feels like no benefit if she's not gaining weight as quickly as they want her to.

I don't enjoy the feeds, they don't necessarily hurt but my body hurts from being stuck in positions feeding on and off for hours.

Seems selfish to quit when there technically aren't any issues but I'm really struggling did anyone else feel like this?

It does get easier as time goes on but that doesn't mean you have to stick to it.
You are important too and your needs and feelings matter. Do what feels right for you. Some people find exclusively pumping easier.

On my first I introduced formula after awhile and combination fed. Stuck with breastfeeding but gave a bottle or 2 of formula a day. My second has not had any formula yet but I do express milk and give her a bottle most days. Some days she doesnt have a bottle at all and some days she gets 2 bottles of pumped milk if I've been feeling like she's feeding a lot or my back Is hurting or I need a bit of a break.
So there are lots of options there. The most important thing is that baby is fed. From the breast, expressed, formula or a combination of all. Figure out what works best for both of ye
