Size 0 vs 1 mam bottle teats

My newborn is 3 weeks old and exclusively breast fed but we are trying to introduce a bottle of expressed milk every couple of days to get her used to a bottle.

we are doing paced bottle feeding to avoid confusion with the breast and trying the size 0 (extra slow flow) teats but she gets quite frustrated with these and we are struggling to get her to do a full feed from a bottle. When is a good age to try the size 1s? I don’t want to do it too soon in case it’s too fast and she prefers the bottle to the breast

Congratulations 🥰

I used size 1 from the get go and have been successfully combination feeding for 8 months!
I did try size 0 but kept finding little one lost interest in the milk because it was too slow!

I also used size 1 from the beginning. I may have got the wrong idea, my eldest is 7 now, but 1s came with the bottles so I just assumed those were the default for a full term newborn. You may as well sterilise a couple and try? Worst case scenario it’s too fast, dribbles everywhere and you go back to the 0s.
