My DD is 2years 7 months, she's always been quite shy but feel like it's got worse recently.
We've just taken her to see her preschool that she is due to start next April, and she was so upset at workers in the school talking to her (she's fine with children). Since she was over 1 when she's very upset, she bangs her head on any surface close to her. Today she banged it that hard on a chair before I could stop her she gave herself a big lump and bruise. If we are out and about and strangers try and talk she also doesn't like it.
Has anyone experienced this and it got better in time? I feel so upset about it at the moment and due to have DS in 2 weeks. I have spoken to the HV and they are sorting help for us.
