3 year old won’t sleep in own bed

Hi
can anyone give me any advise
I have a very strong willed 3 year old who used to sleep soundly 7-7 ish in her own bed.
she has a nightmare and also we had some houseguests and one way or another she’s ended up sleeping in my bed.
it was ok for a while and I like sleeping with her but now we are not getting enough restful sleep, she wakes during her sleep cycles and because she knows I’m there she’ll start talking to me. I’m exhausted and so is she
my friend came recently to help out and we tried the super nanny style of controlled crying so popping her back in bed every time she got out but it’s too traumatic to hear her crying and screaming and she even pulled her own hair in protest. We gave up after one night. I’m looking for a gentle but effective way to keep her in her bed

You could try to Incentivise her with a star chart. Worked well for my son at around age 3/4, if he didn’t come to wake us up in the night he’d get a star. After 5 stars a reward like an outing of his choice or pocket money toy.
