Suddenly not responding to name !

I'm starting to really panic!! My 12 month old has always responded well to his name. He babbles well, claps, waves and has just started to point regularly at everything. His understanding is good, he knows where daddy is where mummy is , where granny is etc. Understands if you say 'wave goodbye' without waving first to wave.
No real words yet, but says 'uh oh' when he drops something and bub bub for bubbles. Eye contact good, socially smiles etc.

However in the last couple of weeks he is actively ignoring me. Will not respond to me calling his name at all. He can definitely hear as when Alexa rings or the doorbell goes off he looks straight to it !

Should I be concerned? I'm really worried about this.

Since he responds to other noises it's most likely you're boring 😁😁😁

Try using a variety of silly voices and see what happens.

Finds you boring I'd imagine all babies go through phases.

Honestly, he’s so little and probably just distracted by literally anything else. Don’t worry, they all go through phases of ignoring us 🙂

Also, stay off google because lots of things that are classed as autistic traits are also typical baby traits. It really means nothing at his age unless it forms part of a much wider picture.

Was speaking to my friend earlier and she said her girl did the same with waving and clapping just randomly stopped doing it for a couple of weeks. Then started up again! Phases xx
