Another child experience

I currently have a 3-year-old, and I'm seriously considering another. I'm worried about how I'll cope with two, especially in the early days. My three-year-old is a dream, sleeps through, and is well-behaved. Don't be fooled! We still have a good old toddler tantrum!
Wondering what others' experiences are, I'd hate to regret a second. Is it drastically different? Does the second get a lot less attention?

I have a 4.5 year age gap between mine and loved it. I found my youngest slotted into our routine rather than changing my eldest's routine to fit baby. I had a hard baby first followed by an easy baby so might have made it easier.

The age gap mean noone really lost out on attention though as the attention is different for each age.

We have a 4 year gap. My eldest was in pt nursery and then started school during the baby's first year, and DH was off work for the first 5 months, so the second has always had lots of one to one attention. Mine have both been relatively easy babies although it's still hard to manage when I have both on my own - luckily it's not all that often due to school, holiday camps and DH having flexible hours.

It is harder but also lots of fun. My eldest is still my more difficult child and neither of them slept until well over 2. I'm glad they have each other though and occasionally I can get a minute to myself if they are playing nicely (for 5 mins).

Some kids will thrive being an only and I know many that do ( I think I would have done myself 😜) but for my eldest daughter I think a sibling was a good thing as she has so much love to give so another little person in the family to share that love with is great.
