Not today, but yes, been there, done that.

I do it every term.

The teachers all remind me now on the last day of term not to come in until the day after I think I should...

You just reminded me that dd1 isn't at school on thursday! Thanks!

I'm sure you are not the only one at all!

Luckily for me he attends morning club at the school and when school isn't on they have a holiday club run by the same people so they know me. Again, luckily, they had a space free for the holiday club which has cost me £15. She then asked if he has school dinners - which he does, the poor love has to have them make a sandwich for him for his lunch . The poor thing was nearly in tears, as was I. Everyone else will be in normal clothes and he's the only one in school uniform. I am such an idiot and have been feeling bad for him all morning

I've done this ... I got all the way to the door and THEN realised that NO-ONE else was on site... literally. No staff. No pupils...

Very embarrassing! Especially walking home with everyone sniggering as we went past their windows!

All the staff were there yesterday which was why I didn't twig and as he goes to the morning club we don't tend to see many children anyway
