Pampers premium protection leaking at night

I started giving my 15 week old a dream feed around 10.30-11pm , which means she goes to bed at 8pm and next nappy change would be when she wakes some time around 1-2am but the pampers have leaked only slightly but still . I bought them as I thought they would be more absorbent but they are t really doing the job I change her at every other waking during the night usually only once maybe twice . Is there any other brand that would be more absorbent ? She wears aldi nappies during the day

Have you tried going up a size?

Have you tried going up a size?

She is in no 2 and if anything I'd say they are a bit big which probably isn't helping either

Do the Aldi ones leak at night too? Can she go two feeds between changes in the daytime?

Are they the right size? Don’t be tempted to size up because they can leak but equally you don’t want too small. Is she in a snug vest that is compressing the nappy as it expands? Ditching the vest in favour of just a babygrow and sleep sack might be better. Also, I always thought active fit pants were the best overnight but you may need to experiment to see what fits your baby best. I assume you’ve tried the Aldis overnight already and they also leak?

Honestly I change her every feed so don't know but I doubt the Aldi ones would last that length might try today and see

Don’t discount the Aldi ones overnight. Our DD is in Aldi nappies (albeit bigger ones as she’s 8 months) and we’ve found they last really well for a whole night. We were given some Pampers at one point and didn’t really notice any difference. It could also be that they simply don’t suit your baby as well: they don’t fit well around the waist or legs etc. Good points made by PP too about making sure any vests aren’t too tight so there’s room for the nappy to expand.
