Literally just that. Tumbled over in the garden, seems like I instinctively rolled on my left side but still she was still slightly under me. She bawled, then settled down. Been to A&E and let come home but still feel like the worst mother in the world, I've more or less been in tears since. She's my first. Keep replaying the fall in my head, and she's got red scrapes on her head where she must have caught the paving :(

Oh OP. Poor you. I know you feel awful and I would too but please don’t. Accidents happen and in the grand scheme of things you are both fine and that’s what matters. She certainly won’t remember. If anything just turn your energy in to spotting anything that you could “tweak” to be safer eg was the surface uneven? Give it another 6 months and she’ll have plenty of tumbles on her own accord!! What’s done is done and you’re not a terrible parent, if you were you wouldn’t feel so bad! Let the guilt go. Xx

Op it was an accident she is fine you are ok , she got a fright but you did the right thing and brought her to A&E. have all the cuddles but go easy on yourself x

I whacked my toddler on the head with the Dyson the other week 😭😭😭. The look of betrayal he gave me was something else!!!

Accidents happen. At least your baby has been cleared by a doctor so you know she'll be fine. No harm done. Try and be kind to yourself - you are still her person 🥰

(my son started crying and instantly wanted a hug, while I apologized a thousand times. Later he proudly told my husband "Mummy hit me in the head. But it was just an axxident" 😭)

You are definitely not the worst mother in the world - a terrible mother wouldn't think twice about it! Forgive yourself - it was just an accident and baby has been checked over. I hope you are ok and I'm glad baby is too 💐
