Parenting Courses

Does anyone know good parenting courses sites?

I've found centre of excellence and attached parenting website from Google are those any good??

I'm struggling with my 18 month old, there is suspected issues. But I feel out of control, insecure in public and my confidence is going 😅😅
So I thought doing some courses may help me feel a bit more armed to manage situations out? I feel like I can't do any groups or anything anymore as just feel so judged :(

Feeling like the worst mum on the planet 😅

My friend was referred to some by her health visitor? She found them useful, they gave her a structure to follow so she felt like she was doing something right.

It turned out her daughter has ADHD, which explained why everything was so hard.

I will ask. It sounds awful but I am so embarrassed :(. I have Autism so I'm awful anyway in social situations. I make it worse because I start panicking and then I'm like "she's a little quirky, got a thing for poo" or something stupid comes out and then I get that back turn and they give my child evils 😭😭

Honestly the stress of others is horrendous. She's so much better at home or in parks, and quieter settings. But in a group oh my lord, I feel like I'm just going to burst into tears.

Im sorry that you're feeling so judged @Pinenuts91.

Has your DD been referred to any services yet?

I do agree with asking your HV if there are any groups specifically for DC like your DD in the area.

If you're not a member already, it might also be worth joining your local ASD group and please do head on over to the SN Section on MN where you'll find support Flowers

Yes under physio and paediatrics. But no diagnosis yet as being investigated. So feel all blame by mums falls on me till then, and tbh does anyway as its weird to blurt out her medical history when they give you the look 😅

Unfortunately she is so sensitive, so the minute I get stressed she gets worse and in public I just crumble. At home or in quiet environments we both manage well.

I love her to bits and it's not her that I get embarrassed by, it's feeling inadequate and basically feels like when you have a crowd watch you reverse park 😂
