Chessington World of Adventures tickets

Hi, I'm planning on visiting Chessington World of Adventures. I have two questions.
1 - if my child gets in free being under 90cm, will he be able to go on rides that are 90cm+. He is 89cm. Do you wear a wrist band or anything to show you have paid?
2 - how much are tickets on the day really? Website says online booking £29, walk in tickets £66. Is this true?

Thanks

They will measure him at the entrance to each ride and if he is under 90cm he can't ride wether you have paid or not it's a safety issue and they can be quite strict.
Prices are that high on the gate to discourage walk ups much better to get in advance.

no

so you have a decision to make

pay and go on more rides
don’t pay but his band will stop him going on certain rides

That's it. I'd rather pay for him then find out he can't go on anything when we are in there. Because I'm sure if he stands up straight he will be 90cm.
