4yo change in toilet habits

Just turned 4yo. Used to do one big poo a day (would occasionally miss a day). The past month or so she's started doing several (usually at least 3) a day, and much smaller (some properly poo shaped, but others just in little bits - but they do seem a decent consistency - not sloppy, and not like rabbit droppings etc (sorry for tmi!)). She's also quite often saying she needs a poo but not being able to once she's on the toilet - initially I thought this was anxiety as it would happen in public toilets, but it's happening at home now too.

She has a reasonable diet I think, with a good amount of fruit and veg. She hasn't lost any weight and seems well in herself.

Is it worth a call to the GP?
