Flying to Faro solo with 7 month old

Hi, has anyone flown to faro, particularly Ryanair recently? I'm taking my 7 month old on my own in a couple of weeks, meeting my parents there, and nervous about where the buggy goes. He's a heavy little monkey and I'm hoping the buggy will be at the steps when we get off, it's a bit of a trek to passport control 🤣 and there's always a huge queue

I flew there in July with my 4 year old and 4 month old (and partner, so admittedly not on my own). We flew with Easyjet and could take the pram right up to the gate then hand it over to go in the hold. I then put the baby in a sling the moment the pram was gone, and used this to get off the plane/go through passport control when we landed at the other end, until we got the pram back at the luggage carousel. It was incredibly easy, and with a baby we were put through the priority queues everywhere, so sailed through the airport.
If you wanted to keep the pushchair with you, I guess you'd have to take a small one on as cabin luggage, but logistically it'd be a nightmare trying to get a baby and buggy off a plane at the same time! We use an ergobaby embrace sling if that helps.

Use a sling for the time/trek between getting off the plane and retrieving your buggy after passport control!

I flew there with my seven month old in April, although it was easyJet and it was fine! If you use a sling or carrier that will help. Your pram won't be with you again until you get to baggage reclaim, and it did take a while because Faro can be quite busy.

At passport control though, when they see that you have a baby you'll be directed to the fast track queue

Many airports have rental (or free) pushchair/trolley combos €2 I've seen charged in Spain, though not been to Faro, worth checking
