hi yes we will be taking our first family holiday soon, and i want to get dd some of those sunsuits.

now my question is, which ones are better, and easier to use, the all in ones or the two piece ones?

theres one i really like in adams, pink with a big strawberry on the front(v cute) i like the look of this one best

or theres one in boots which is a top and bottoms, red with a heart on it.

and im thinking, perhaps i should go for the two piece as its easier to get dd changed?
we are going to be on the beach alot and going to the pool alot too.
what do you do about nappies when taking babies on holiday, i was thinking of not using any in the sea. is this what you do?

any advice gratfully recieved

jst don't do what I do, I took EVERYTHING, to the tune of £90 over weight baggage charges, needless to say none of it came home again

I found that swimming nappies were better for the beach because if the normal nappy got wet (ie not from wee) it swelled and was uncomfortable for her. It meant she could potter in and out of the shallows all day.

I also found that disposables were more practical. She had a re-usable for the pool, but as we're always at the beach for the day she would inevitably do a poo at some point so it was easier to change her and dump the nappy than to store a stinking nappy at the beach.

The swimming nappies if not soiled could be washed out and dried and I have used some 2 or 3 times.

I'd always take at least 2 suits to the beach with us for the day (but then I'm notorious for going prepared for anything). If she did a poo and it leaked I had another to pop her into. But then we tend to live at the beach in the summer so it was worth my while having 3 or 4 suits.

She has a couple of hooded towels too and they're great, but now she's bigger I've found that hooded, towelling dresses are actually better as she can run around in them. With the towel the sides flap open and everyone sees her bottom!

The other thing that were completely brilliant last year were her crocs. Much, much better than jellies or those wet suit shoes.
