How do you get out of your front door?

What if one falls asleep during a walk?

can't find picture to show back but can you fold one side ever so slightly like you can on an umbrella fold by lifting up one sides cross bar or if not can you buy an insert that lifts out don't know how old your children are

When I get to use it, children will be new born, and 16 months...its not going to work is it?

I had the same problem. And the same gap between children. So I used to put the pram outside in the yard then put the children in it as I could fit it through the gate. If I came home and one was asleep I just left them in it outside in our own yard and stayed in the kitchen with the door open.

Sometimes I would put them in it in the front street - we have no garden and as we live on a VERY steep hill I would put it behind my car so it couldn't roll away with one of them in it.

You don't need to go out and buy another, just load and unload them outside.

btw I didn't use it for the first six months or so anyway, I either had ds2 in pram and ds1 walking on reins for short distances; ds1 in buggy and ds2 in sling for longer distances; both of them in car. I only used a double buggy when ds2 got too heavy for sling.

Yup - had the same problem. I ended up loading and unloading at the front door and then folding 10 times a day - lots of continued sleeps on the sofa....blinking annoying and then bought a Phil and Teds (sorry but you did ask!)

Use to put mine in via the garage - if you have one!! Also used to leave DS asleep in there if he was asleep left door open.

Looks like its going to be a loading outside the front door jobby then!

We couldn't find a double that would go through our door, either, which made me think about getting in and out of the little shops etc., too also, my friend's double mountain buggy was stolen from her porch. That's why I bought Phil and Teds. Prolly not what you wanted to hear, sorry.

i've never once wheeled my pushchair inside and i only have a single but it would make the floors filthy. if ds fell asleep in the pushchair i would just leave it outside in the back garden or in the garage if it was raining. do you have a garage, conservatory, patio doors that you could use instead?

No, front door leads onto small front garden, so pushchairs have always been keep in the hall way.

Back gate is always locked/bolted/wall of steel, due to our motorbikes being kept in there.

I cant take it back as got it second hand from ebay, and dh had brought it after a few JD's on Saturday night with strict instructions to google any thing he liked first

So as it will be me that has to get the kiddies into in the street, I think it should be me that picks it?

It fits in the car a treat though, so may keep it for our car journeys to our race meets.

Can you sell it on? You might lose a bit of money but better than nothing?

Well have spoken to dh about it, and he thinks I will manage, and am making too much out of it

I know lots of peple do manage with the pram outside thing. I would just be careful to bring it in, as I say about my friend- she lives in a really nice, quiet suburb, and still the b**rs nicked it. Good luck with your new baby!
