Is it legal for a single Dad to take a 4 year old to work laying floors?

I would guess it's not illegal. Depends where though I suppose. I would also guess you aren't happy about it?

Not sure why it wouldn't be legal. Lots of children go to work with their parents at some point. There are rules regarding building sites and kids aren't there? But not sure if in a private house.

My dad used to take me with him when I was a kid. I loved it.

I can't think that there would be a law against it but there could be insurance issues.
