Things your toddler is upset about

A lighthearted one for solidarity with anyone who’s dealing with a dramatic toddler this morning.

I tried to clean my DDs teeth and she got hysterical, was walking around crying for daddy (who is at work) and now lying by the front door as I’m clearly such a monster 🙃

yesterday she got upset because I put my own jacket on, because she wanted to hold it lol

Mine has just come upstairs crying because daddy put the TV on and she wants it off 🫠

Mine walked off a strop earlier because DH didn't pick up the right shape and get in the right hole of the shape sorter first time... even though she was making him do it with his eyes shut. 'THAT'S WRONG, TRY AGAIN DADDY' 😆🤦‍♀️

Mine keeps shouting doing the baby shark fingers( he's almost 2 but no words yet). I'm pretending not to know what he means 🤭

I called him by his name instead of "honey" 🥹🥹🥹

Her toes are making a funny noise. She put socks on to try to stop herself hearing it but it didn't work.

My little dog has 3 beds and several blankets, but her favourite place to sleep is on my big dogs tail 🤣

I remember my DD was once absolutely hysterical because I flushed the toilet. She wanted to keep her poop 😳

Oh that's cute!!

My son used to be scared of using the toilet for a poo in case he disappeared down the drain 🤣🤣 ...... he's now 19 so that theory was moot Lol

Mine once sobbed for a full 20 minutes because he didn't want to have nipples.

The other day it was because I looked at her while she was putting her toy rabbit to bed 😳

Yesterday it was because she wanted the unopened bottle of milk for her cereal, not the milk that was left from the other bottle.

This morning it was because she wanted to eat her cereal on the sofa with a fork.

The longest one had to do with wanting to wear her dad’s dirty socks not her own clean ones. And I mean they were his running ones and they stank. That screwed up an entire morning! 😂🫠

Nursery she had a melt down yesterday because she didn't want to leave .... I made her to back this morning and it was like I was taking her for torture the tears down her face in the car she was so angry!

Because I wouldn’t let her wear sparkly sandles out in the peeing down rain

my toddler was upset recently because she wanted to go for a walk, then was upset because she was walking and wanted to be carried. Then she got upset because I then carried her and wanted to get down. I was so confused.

also because her milk wasn’t in the pink cup.

Wanting her pear whole AND cut up 🤷‍♀️

I wouldn’t let him run around Asda with his pants down. By pants I do mean pull up and not trousers ! I know I’m an asshole.
also he desperately wants “something else” and I haven’t got “something else” multiple things have been offered but no. Something else is the only thing he wants

Ahhh... if you ever figure out what the 'something else' is please let me know! Tbh, most of the time - in DD's case - it's cheerios 😆

Because today she wants to wear her clothes backwards but also expects us to and we have to go out 🤦

I got his football out of the hedge when he kicked it there.

He wants it to stay there. But also to be able to play with it.
