Are toddler tantrums harming baby?

My almost 3yo seems to tantrum constantly. I’d say we have at least 2-3 big ones, peppered with multiple minor frustrations throughout a normal day. We are really working on how we communicate with her and respond to the tantrums and I think I’m learning each time. (Mostly learning what not to do, and how to regulate myself and not respond to all those pushed buttons)

Im so worried that the big ones could be harming our 4mo. Toddler never physically hurts baby and would never, but she screams so loud my ears ring, she kicks out at me and shouts and it is generally quite a stressful environment to be around her as the smallest thing can set her off. She had a tantrum earlier and it was so stressful I could feel my heart pounding and I was shaking after.

unfortunately, when I’m on my own with them, baby is often strapped to me and so is very close to all of this. Once or twice I’ve had to strap baby into their bouncer so I can physically move toddler when needed, but then baby cries until I'm back holding.

I know stressful parental relationships and arguments can be harmful for babies, so surely being around this could be harming baby too? Is there any way of protecting them?
