EBF 6 week old - is it ok to introduce dummy sometimes?

didnt use dummy for dd1. both total Velcro babies - but now having 2 and still having sciatica I just can’t have him in carrier the entire time. Is it ok to occasionally use dummy just so he can nap in pram?

he breastfeeds loads especially throughout the night etc so I don’t think it could effect supply? Am I right? Is this ok?

thanks!

Yes of course. I did from day 1 with all of mine but certainly from a few weeks in I would have no concerns about it affecting latch etc.

It's fine, both mine were EBF and both had dummies. I remember stressing so much about giving one to DD1 but DD2 had one at a week old 😂
As long as they're feeding well and they don't have it all the time it's fine

If they find their thumb it will do more damage than a dummy.
