My children's father moved out a few months ago and their behaviour is really challenging right now and I feel really lost with it.
They are 4 and 6 and are good kids generally.
Since he moved out, they are off the wall at bedtime, ridiculously silly behaviour, refusing to sleep and just riling each other up.
They'll hit each other, name call "stupid" etc which I know isn't exactly bad language but the intention behind it worries me.
They won't listen or do anything they're asked.
"Well you won't shout at us like daddy does"
6 year old is also blaming me for his dad moving out.
I just feel so lost and hopeless.
They've never been like this and I'm just done.
They're with me whenever they're not at school, he does very little on a practical basis. He might take them out for the day if he's not at work (shifts) or with his girlfriend but it's as hoc with no routine.
I'm just done. I'm drained. I work full time in a stressful job and come home to behaviour like we've never had before.
Please help. What can I do to change things?
