Keeping pram basket and bag dry in the rain??

Basically I don’t want to be stuck inside now we are heading into autumn 🌧️ !! I want to be able to get some fresh air even in the rain but my pram gets soaked!

I have the Icandy peach 7 with rain cover so baby has been dry and cosy on the odd days it has rained during our miserable British summer, however my bag and anything under the pram in the basket gets absolutely soaked!! I have tried googling basket covers but I can only see an uppababy one…. Do they not exist?

does anyone have any tips how to prevent this?
except for the obvious … “stay inside” LOL

Just put everything into a rucksack and get a waterproof rucksack cover for it, which you then carry. If you need to put something in the basket then maybe use something like a dry bag? Or just a big plastic bag.

Theres a company on Facebook that make rain covers for shopping baskets. Might be worth checking if they do them for Icandy.

I think the stuff under the pram gets soaked from the water off the wheels and the pavement, so Batbatbatty's suggestion of a large plastic bag is probably the best and cheapest solution.

I used to put things in plastic bags . It works fine .

I find that the seat covers the basket enough to keep things dry. I have quite a compact buggy so I put most things in a rucksack and use a rain cover.

I stretched a rucksack raincover over the basket of my buggy, not perfect, but kept things pretty dry even in heavy rain.
