Is anyone up at this hour and can’t sleep?

I am but it isn't a human baby keeping me awake is it is a grumpy cat.

Yes I am. Is there a reason you can't sleep or just having one of those nights?

Just one of those nights I suppose… no human baby here either, mine are 10 and 15! Hubby got up and went to work an hour ago and been wide awake since, can’t get back to sleep 😞

Though I've got a 2 year old, he's actually fast asleep but I've been up since 3am because Im a really crappy sleeper 😅

Yes.. restless legs and a toddler having a split night. Send help lol

Most of my nights are like this to be honest. Thanks 'The Menopause'. Just cannot get back to sleep if woken. Usually by the cat.

This morning is different though in that today as soon as the dawn breaks I'm off down to my garage to open my kiln and remove all my glazed pottery after yesterday's glaze firing which is my first one ever.

So I'm doing that in about an hour.

Yep, wide awake here. Work is super busy so I think it's anxiety related.

Yup, awake here. On holiday and husband goes to the loo. Puts the ensuing light on but leaves door open and wakes me up! He's now fast asleep and I'm here scrolling mumsnet!

Me! I have my c-section booked for today and iv been up since 3 with bad anxiety 😭 x

General stress and anxiety wake me up almost every night / wee small hours lately. Going to try and at least relax for an hour now before getting up properly for the day ….

I'm up because DC wants a puppy. Toddler logic refuses to accept that the answer at 5am will be exactly the same as the answer was at midnight. Namely, No.

I'm going back to bed in preparation for the 7am puppy request.

Woke up at 4am. In a panic that it is PE day and had I washed the kit😅
Tried telling myself I was being a bit daft, but no . Had to get up and check.
Yes it is washed but now I am wide awake.
Not helpful since I am 9 month pregnant and up every 2 hours in the night for a wee anyway. It maybe a nap day today.....

Should be asleep and make the most of it but my 8 week old is still asleep. She has done an 8 hour stretch! I’m watching her sleep and expressing some milk off as I am so uncomfortable! Not sure at what point to worry.
