DS is now 16 mths and likes playing with DD's toys. I have put all the really small bits away (Barbie shoes and the like) but am wondering if I am being too cautious.

At what age is it safer to have these bits around the house?

my ds (18 months) has actually been really good around dd's (4 yrs) fiddly bits and pieces. We are not very good at sorting out the small bits and ds has never really tried to eat them (or stuff them up his nose!!)

My dd2 is 5 and still puts everything in her mouth

My nephew never has. I mean never not even as a crawler! Go figure.

Yes, and dd2 still shoves stuff up her nose too

She is a curious child
