Hey guys,
So I picked my DS up after lunch today, he has just started nursery. We have been given a code so we can enter the building ourselves.
When I entered the building I heard staff member say to another staff member "urghh, when are these 2 going home?" Then shouted to some of the children to stop drawing on the tables now!
Now I have worked in a nursery before so I am fully aware of how hard it is, but it just didn't sit right with me how she spoke about the children like that to another staff member (the manager!), and also the way she shouted at them. I'm not saying children shouldn't be told off, of course they should, but there's ways of doing it.
It's made me wonder whether I should raise this with the manager, although she was one of the staff involved 😳 or whether to let it go.
What would you parents do?
