Teething tips?

My 6 month old has another tooth coming through and she's clearly been in lots of pain. It seems to bother her most around bedtime which means it's taken us an extra 1.5 - 2 hours to get her off to sleep, which is exhausting when most of that time she's crying. I've tried bonjela, doesn't work. I've tried giving her cold teethers but she doesn't seem to be keen on them. Any other things I can try?

Calpol?

I thought about it but I wasn't sure how often I could use Calpol.

A combination of anbesol liquid and ibuprofen when needed should do the trick! Have to ask for anbesol liquid from behind the pharmacy counter.

I think it is 2.5mls 3 times a day and it isn't recommended for more than 3 days. A nurse told me it was fine to give but she did say not to give ibprofen as it is harsh on the kidneys.

Yep, anbesol. Liquid is easier to apply, gel is harder to spill.

Are you giving nurofen ?
