Dropping nap at nursery or at home first?

My DS is 2.5 years old and goes to nursery 3 days a week. We've just started potty training, which might be effecting things, but for the last week he's not fallen asleep at nap time at home at all.

He goes quiet for a bit and then starts singing his head off or shouting numbers- I'm currently listening to a vey rousing rendition of wheels on the bus coming from his room.

I don't mind this, however at nursery he apparently still naps every day.

I don't know if that's because of the peer pressure of everyone else being asleep, or if nursery is more exhausting and he needs the sleep more.
At home we go out every morning and afternoon and I get him to walk as much as possible so I do my best to tire him out.

Did your toddlers drop the nap at home or at nursery first?

Mine is nearly 3 and also goes to nursery 3 days a week. He probably naps once a week there, and then maybe twice at home, so has a few days in the week where he doesn't nap in either place. I think dropping naps can be like this where they sometimes do and sometimes don't for a while.

It took about 4 months for my daughter to drop her nap. She started by dropping the odd nap at home but napped more reliably at nursery but once she was mostly dropped the nap and just needed 1 or 2 a week she dropped it at nursery and only napped at home.
This was a year ago and she still has the odd nap if we are in the car mid afternoon and has asked for a sleep after lunch a few times but has never actually slept but we do have a quiet half hour in her room with a story and a cuddle

My eldest dropped her nap at nursery but kept it at home (thank god) but my friend had the opposite and her son dropped his at home but kept it at nursery.
