Feel So Inadequate

I had COVID all last Trimester of pregnancy, then contracted cellulitis. Had a c section and two blood transfusions, got an infection in c section, then chronic mastitis and gastroenteritis. Moved house twice when the baby was 12 weeks and 5 months. I was diagnosed with Long COVID and post viral fatigue. My baby wouldn't latch so I've been pumping for 7.5 months. I know I'm not my best physically.
However I have just enough energy to drag myself through the day, let alone look after a baby. Days I haven't slept I feel broken and can barely cope.
My husband has been amazing throughout doing more baby looking after than me. I've cashed in savings to pay for help a few days a week ( we've had no family etc help). It's been tough.
My issue is, my mum had three children under four and was also a Primary school teacher part time.
I am absolutely floored and barely coping with one and I feel pathologically inadequate. A feeling I just can't shake.
Any advice or tips please?
Xx

Ummmm… I suspect your mum wasn’t running marathons in her “spare” time either!

Jeez OP give yourself a break. Where is all this doing coming from? It Is good that your dh has stepped up, you’ve had a bloody awful time. You don’t need us to reassure you - you know this deep down.

Im really sorry you have had such a tough time, and hope things improve. Be gentle on yourself.
