Routine for breast fed baby

My baby is 11 weeks old tomorrow and I’m exclusively breastfeeding her.

She sleeps well during the night so far but the days are harder with her. She doesn’t really like being put down, and it’s really hard to get her to sleep during the day. She can seem in a deep sleep but if I move even a mm she’s wide awake, and if I try and put her down to sleep in her moses basket or snuzpod or even at the side of me on the sofa, she’s instantly awake. She sometimes looks really tired but still won’t sleep. I can only get her to sleep by feeding her or if she’s well fed she’ll fall asleep in her car seat in the moving car.

I’d never not feed her responsively but I would like to try and start gently implementing some sort of routine during the day. As much for me for her, I want to help her to sleep better during the day but I also feel best with a routine.

I’d love to hear how you got your BF baby into a routine and what it was and just any advice you have for me please. She’s my PFB and I just want to make sure I’m looking after her well and doing the right thing by her.

We didn't have a routine beyond getting out for a walk each morning. My bf babies were very similar, wanted to be held lots on the day. Have you tried a sling?

She is at the age when her own natural routine will start to show, so maybe wait a few weeks and tune into that as it will make your life easier. I had two that would wake at the drop of a pin, and I often wore them in a sling so they could sleep while I got on. That's worth trying.

I have a sling and a carrier and she loves them sometimes but sometimes she hates them? I have a similar issue of her waking up as soon as I put her in them. Occasionally if I can get her in and she goes back to sleep she will have a really good sleep in them, 2 hours +

I Can’t put her in awake, she gets really frustrated and starts thrashing around and won’t settle.
