Returning a pram

Hi, I've got anxiety so please be gentle, I ordered a cosatto stroller for my 2 year old. It's come and I put D's in and it's tiny his feet are touching the wheels (dangerous). I've packed it back up and ive arranged it to be collected to get a refund. But it says on website they will take unused items in original packaging. So it has been used as I put it together and put ds in to try it but immediately realised it's not good so folded it up and put it back in but the packaging (bag it came in) is ripped from me getting it out. Everything is in there. I wrote a note and put it in alongside the return note to explain why I'm doing it but just wondered how likely it is I'll get a refund. I really can't afford to throw 180 pound away when ds can't use it. Thanks.

I don't think they are obliged to give you a refund unless the item is faulty

If it's been opened and put together I agree they probably won't give you a refund unless faulty. Can you not sell it? Facebook marketplace? Gumtree etc?

Thankyou, sadly they're selling for 50 on FB marketplace so id lose allot of money. I'll send it back and keep my fingers crossed as Its going back to cosatto they may repackage it. Stroller itself is still new. If it comes back will have to sell it at loss. Just so hard to find strollers for toddlers especially as this one was advertised as up to 25kg
