My DS (2) is on the ASD pathway. He struggles in almost every area you can think of.
I never even considered having a disabled child and I’m finding it all very overwhelming. I know every situation is different but I find knowledge is power. I’m looking for some real-life experiences of what its like raising an autistic child (and beyond).
My big fears at the moment are being a carer for life, and parenting never getting easier / feeling worth it. Please share your warts & all experiences.
