DD16 has asked to go to this. Rave=drugs to me so I am not keen. Does anyone else have any information about this particular rave?

I do but concerned there is no upper age limit

Drugs are just as common in local parks as raves though these days , sadly.
it’s tricky and yes they’re not 18 but this poor generation of little ravers have missed out on so much because of covid etc, I’d approach it with the same sensibilities as a festival .

Raves would have a larger number of people. And my concern is 16+- no upper age limit. Don't want to them to be in a situation they don't know how to deal with or worse still be spiked or injected and the only people they know are other 16 year olds

I think you just need to sit him down and have a chat about it, if he did take anything there’s always loads of bouncers about to help. Just make sure he doesn’t drink anyone else’s drinks even if offered to him and if he vapes don’t share it
