Looking for some ideas for twin boys who will be 4 and a half when Santa comes. Already have arts and crafts, jigsaw, books and orchard games but really don't know about a main present.
I would appreciate any suggestions
Thank you

Scooters?

PolaroidPrincess · 24/08/2024 15:10

Scooters are great for that age abs you have the added bonus of getting to places more quickly Grin

Nice kitchen set with accessories.

My twins are turning 4...I'm going with bikes and accessories. They will also get some Schleich dinosaurs / animals. Some figures from a tv show they love. And a shared present for all the siblings will be a box of craft stuff pencils pens paints and one of those hobby craft colour in playhouses - the cardboard ones you can get in a train or car etc

lazysummerdayz · 24/08/2024 15:24

Also hot wheels goes down well in my house, also wooden trains and tracks - Bigjigs website has loads of accessories like dinosaur tunnels etc.

Thank you for pointing that out. As a PO said some people do need to budget and some just like to be prepared.

Possumly · 24/08/2024 16:31

Do they have magnatiles?

N96 · 24/08/2024 18:14

Thank you all for your input, some great ideas and a couple of sites I didn't know about with some lovely things for their age. I am sure Santa will bring something from the suggestions here.
I apologise for raising the subject of Christmas so early but finances dictate I have to pick up a few things at a time although the weather here in Scotland makes it feel like we are nearer to December than we actually are!!!

Don't apologise I've been getting Autumn ready today including testing the heating Grin

Beforetheend · 24/08/2024 18:24

@N96 There’s a dedicated Christmas board that’s always good for ideas. It also has a long running bargain thread

Ponderingwindow · 24/08/2024 18:35

Dd really enjoyed a train set at that age.

Christmas is so much more enjoyable if you knock out the work of putting it together early.

eggplant16 · 24/08/2024 21:01

A charity donation?

Yoto box

KimKardashiansLostEarring · 24/08/2024 21:06

Whatever they ask him for on their Santa list/letter/visit, or in our case I’m too lazy to do those things so they just verbally ask Santa out loud into the ether as if talking to God. If not one of the above, how would Santa have known what to bring them??

In our house Santa brings one biggish pressie thing from the scenario above plus stocking.

All other presents are from whoever bought them, inc us.
