Reality of being single parent? 1x autistic toddler & 1 baby

Hi,

I'm trying to decide whether to stay with someone that is wrong for me or become a single parent.

Hoping for some honest views and advice from anyone experienced in this area.

My partner and I don't get on, we disagree on parenting and I think just don't enjoy each others company. He's capable of being quite emotionally mean to me, but then I'm probs nicest to him at times as resent him a little. Our child doesn't see this.

I have 3 year old currently going through developmental assessments and while he's wonderful, he's very hard work. I'm also 7 months pregnant with second child.

I struggle a little with things and get overwhelmed so i know it would be insanely tough for me... which is what is holding me back and staying with him.

Anyone actually broken free? Has it worked out better or harder than you expected?

@caityvh I would ask @MNHQ to move this over to the SN section so that you will hopefully get some responses from single Mums to ND DC Flowers
