14 month old not eating

Need some advice please my 14 month old has never been the best eater it’s always been a battle to get him to eat.

for the past two weeks now he has literally been eating nothing I’m lucky if I can get two mouthfuls in. He is also refusing all snacks. He has just cut his two front top teeth a couple days ago but his eating has still got no better.

he has refused his wheetabix altogether this morning also offered a crumpet he threw it on the floor. I have been trying to cut down completely on his milk to make sure he’s hungry but this morning he has cried all morning I’ve just given in and gave him a bottle of milk and he’s now sat happily playing

am i doing the wrong thing or do I just offer more milk until he gets past this phase of not eating?

My son is the same age and is going through a phase of throwing most food on the floor as well. He’s gone off most things that he used to eat with no problems. I think it’s normal for them to get more fussy with food around this age. How do you feed him? I do BLW and DS will feed himself if he’s hungry enough. He will not take anything from a spoon. One thing he seems to consistently love is baby porridge, though I have to make it thick enough that he can eat it with his hands, he won’t let me spoon feed it to him.

My son was the exact same when he was that age he is now 2 years old and still the same but has gotten better and will tend to eat more it's because your baby is transitioning from baby to toddler he's finding his own personal likes and dislikes he can now refuse to eat what he doesn't want where as as a baby he would just eat what was given there is nothing to be concerned about it is completely normal you will find that in time with the stuff your offering he will eventually try and you will find what he prefers for breakfast and dinner my son was the exact same and still is but he's found his own likes now and asked for things like pasta pizza and toast give it time and you will see the same
I also brought this up with my HV how he's not eating and she told me not to worry what he's eating in a day but rather worry about what he's eaten in that week I know it's stressful because your worried if your baby's even full or hungry what I'm trying to say is it gets better and don't worry xxxx
