DD bowel issues!

A poo story!
My 6 year old DD has always suffered from constipation. Her poops are massive, literally huge and very hard going 5 days between bowel movements. She has a good diet, fruit, veg, drinks plenty, very active. We've been on laxido sachets for over a year with little difference.

On the 5th August she was vomiting & diahhrea at the same time. I put it down to a tummy bug. She then went 8 days without a poop so on the 13th August was told to give her 4 sachets of laxido, followed by 6, then 8, for fecal impaction. On the 15th, so 10 days since last bowel movement she had a lottttt of diahhrea, but since then she's been having liquid poops, no solid shapes, daily. I continued with her laxido at just one a day so I don't know if to stop it all together.

She's suffered so long with constipation do you think it would be reasonable to request a blood test or scan just to be sure?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

The he only experience I have is CMPA. If that's already been ruled out I don't think it will hurt to ask for further tests. I think at least Coeliac Disease needs ruling out.

Has you been directed to the ERIC Website? They have a helpline which might be useful Flowers
