💩 talk

My 8 month old has been weaning for two months. She doesn’t eat much currently, mainly purées. Since weaning, her poos have turned brown and thicker. But today, she did a yellow mucus poonami. She didn’t eat anything yesterday that she hasn’t tried before. She is still breastfeeding a lot and is drooling LOTS. I’m just really shocked and concerned 🙁

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Allergies don’t appear on the first exposure. But to me it sounds like it’s caused by drooling/teething. I wouldn’t be worried by this one off event.

Maybe teething?

This should read “allergies OFTEN don’t appear on first exposure”

Teething can cause diarrhoea. They swallow loads of spit and it's acidic.
