I suspect my DC9 is ND and I'm currently desperately trying to get help! Obviously they are off school and the GP is saying I can only get referred via school, I've reached out to social services on the advice of the GP who won't call me back.
My DC is so violent, I get hit, punched, kicked, bitten at least once a day. Their temper is uncontrollable, I've tried being strict, gentle/therapeutic parenting, nothing helps which is why I've reached out for support. my DC is so rude to me and others, which I don't let them get away with but everything seems to trigger them but the violence is only for me and their younger sibling. I obviously can't accept violence but all the groups I'm in tell me to accept them for who they are, help them regulate (which makes them more mad), come up with strategies when they are calm (which go out of the window when triggered). I'm getting more and more annoyed at the groups who seem to think I should just accept being violently beaten constantly because it's a meltdown. I just want them to stop hurting me and their sibling but I can't even guess their triggers because at the minute it's everything!
Can anyone please help me as I'm at the end of what I can deal with.
